Applications are invited from innovative and dynamic Christian teachers qualified to teach Science and Maths in Years 7 – 10. This is a full-time position starting in Term 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of quality Science and Mathematics teaching programs in secondary school.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons in Science and Mathematics to Years 7 – 10
• Work collaboratively with the Science and Mathematics Learning Areas to produce fair and educative assessments and improve on teaching programs with relation to the needs of current students.

Selection Criteria:

• Experience teaching Science (Years 7-10) and Mathematics (Years 7-8)
• The capacity to design creative and engaging educational opportunities for students which support their growth as independent and resilient learners
• Experience with ICT skills
• Excellent English oral and written literacy skills
• Organisational and administrative skills
• Experience / ability to teach Science courses to Year 11 and 12 students would be an advantage.

• Have the capacity to teach Christian Education in a Christian School.
• Demonstrate capacities in the selected curriculum:
• Demonstrate experience with ICT skills.
• Demonstrate competent oral and written literacy skills.
• Have organisational and administrative skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Be able to work collaboratively in a team.
