Dear Parents, Guardians and School Families
COVID-19 Update at 5pm 24/2/22
Today we have received news of 2 new COVID-19 positive cases, one in Primary and one in Secondary school. One staff member is a ‘close contact’.
It is now the task of Schools to identify ‘close contacts’ and make decisions on sending students and staff home to isolate, so we have made the following decisions:
- ALL YEAR 12 STUDENTS are to isolate at home for 7 days from 22/2/22 and undergo a PCR test on day 7. They are able to return to school 1/3/22 when they have evidence of a negative PCR test.
Year 12 TEACHERS are not considered ‘close contacts’ and are at school, providing remote learning to Year 12 Students.
One Teacher is a ‘close contact’ and is isolating at home, following the 7 day requirements. - One YEAR 7 student has tested positive to COVID-19 and is isolating at home for 7 days and following the 7 day requirements.
STAFF and Students in Year 7 are not considered ‘close contacts’ and may attend school. - One year 6 student has tested positive to COVID-19 and is isolating at home for 7 days.
ALL students and some staff are to isolate for 7 days from 22/2/22. On day 7 they are to undergo a PCR test and if negative, they may return to school on 1/3/22.
They are considered ‘close contacts’ because it is a Primary class and students do not wear masks.
On-line learning will be available to Year 6 on Friday 25/2/22. Students should be on-line with TEAMS from 10am – 12:30pm for remote learning with their teachers.

We are thankful for each day when most students can arrive safely to school and enjoy their day with their friends. We are also thankful for the preparation of on-line learning and encourage students to remain connected and engaged with their teachers and one another.
