On the 13 November 2018 the year 10 students and a few year 9 students went to to ECU Joondalup, to experience the ‘bright, light and explosive chemistry show by Mr Tim Harrison, Bristol University, UK‘.
The students were treated to a range of Chemistry experiments as the presenter investigated the properties of various gases; nitrogen, carbon dioxide, helium, hydrogen and methane through the use of spectacular demonstrations such as a liquid nitrogen shower, a whoosh bottle and exploding hydrogen balloons!
