Interschool Atheltics was on 8 Nov 2018.
DRUM ROLL someone!! This was our first time in Division 1 at the Interschool Athletics Carnival and the primary school came 5th overall.
There were nine competing schools and the tremendous effort from our students created such a sense of fun, and a spirit of great sportsmanship on the day. We had three silver medalists of whom we are very proud and look forward to even more medalists next year. We are sure that when word gets around, the Year 2’s will be ready in 2019 to train with all their wonderful might, in the lead up to next year’s event.
Our silver medalist winners were:
Natasha Turkash Year 3
Chika Bamara Year 4
Kyle Lusite Year 4
And we look forward to their continued athletic development and passion for sport, plus competitive heart for our school community. Thank you especially to our entire Athletics Squad who made it a special event and all the volunteers who came and the teachers. Bring on 2019 and holding our place in Division 1!
