On Tuesday 4th April we celebrated the opening of the Early Learning Centre “Koorlangka Waarbiny” at our Casserley Avenue campus. The short ceremony included a traditional welcome to country speech from Mrs Ollie Rundle, a dance, performed by Kaylee Winchester, accompanied on didgeridoo by her grandfather Mr Michael Rundle.
Mr Eric Farmer (Former School Board Chair) read Psalm 8, followed by a prayer by Rev Rex Gabrielson. The audience were presented with an item by the Senior Choir, followed by an address from Senator Dean Smith and Mr Tony Stopher.
Kindergarten, Pre-Primary, Year 1 and Year 2 Students presented a moving performance of “I am Australian” followed by the unveiling of the plaque and cutting of the ribbon.
Guests were then invited to tour the new facility, guided by the young students. Morning tea and coffee were provided by the EPG.
The morning was very much enjoyed by all who attended, and we give thanks to God for His wonderful provision of this expansion to our School.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed tours of the Early Learning Centre led by the children, followed by morning tea.
