A fine day and enthusiastic students made for a great Cross Country Carnival. All the Year 2 to Year 6 students who attended, represented Emmanuel with pride and honour. I was most proud how the students persevered through the difficult terrain and gave all that they could before crossing the finishing line.
Students received points for their placement which went towards the school’s overall score. Out of 18 schools, Emmanuel finished 13th overall. Some individual highlights were Jack 4th place and Levi 8th. Shiori , Jake , Kayden and George finished in the top 20 in their age race.
Thank you to Mrs Bradley and Mrs Matchett for attending and your support during the day. Year 12 students Katie and Saxon were terrific in marshalling the students and giving words of encouragement. We look ahead to improve and set our sights on a successful 2022 event!
