The Primary Interschool Track Carnival took place on Thursday the 7th of November.

The children all competed really well and represented Emmanuel in an amazing manner.  An example of this was when our children lost to someone faster, they went up and shook the winners hands and congratulated them on their achievements.  This sort of good sport behaviour wasn’t displayed by many other children at the carnival.  Well Done!

We came fourth overall.  While we didn’t win, we did win a number of medals for best competitor and runners up in each Grade.

Makur Makur (Grade 3) and Kyle Lusite (Grade 5) came first in their Grade groups and were crowned as Champion Boys.

Three more children, Holly Par (Grade 5), Damien Jallah (Grade 5) and Azarl Tanveer (Grade 6) came 3rd in their age groups.

Well done to each and every competitor who showed that Emmanuel is not only a school of great athletes, but great characters as well.
