All Year 10 students and their parents/carers are invited to attend one of the most important curriculum events on the school calendar, the Year 10 Course Selection Evening. It is held on Thursday, 21 July 2022 which is during the first week of Term 3.The event will be held in the West Wing on the ground floor. Students will receive their 2023 Course Selection Handbook.
At this event, Year 10 students and their parents/carers will learn about the various pathways available in senior school, and how to apply for the courses and/or certificates in Year 11 that they wish to study. We anticipate that all Year 10 students will be present.
Several universities and TAFE displays will be available, with staff representatives ready to answer questions from students about tertiary education and careers.
The program for the evening is as follows:
- 5.30pm: University, TAFE and Course displays, tea and coffee available
- 6.00pm – 6.45pm: Presentations by the Curriculum Team regarding Pathways and Course selection
- 6.45pm – 7.15pm: Circulate through university, TAFE and Course displays
If you have any friends or family who may be interested in what ECCS is offering Year 11 students in 2023 and are considering sending their children to our school, please invite them to come along.
