Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) are disciplines in their own right, yet, STEM education is the learning of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in an interdisciplinary or integrated approach. Students gain and apply knowledge, deepen their understanding and develop creative and critical thinking skills within an authentic context. It includes inquiry and project-based learning.
The year 8 students have been modelling and building small scale models using different class of levers and gears. It’s been a fun and engaging learning experience.
